Sara Norval is a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in Mayer Brown's Chicago office. Sara represents national and multinational corporations in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts and regulatory investigations.

Sara’s civil litigation and regulatory investigation experience includes post-acquisition and business disputes, accountant liability matters, and financial institution representation. Sara has significant experience advising clients at all phases of litigation and regulatory investigation, including initial fact investigation, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, all aspects of discovery, and representing clients at trial.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Sara clerked for Judge Elizabeth Foote of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Sara received her JD from Tulane School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Tulane Law Review. While in law school, Sara externed for Judge Robert Dow of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Sara received her BA from the University of Chicago.
