Admitted to the Paris and Thessaloniki (Greece) Bars, Stavroula Nikolaidou is a member of the Compliance, Regulatory and Investigations team of Mayer Brown's Paris office, within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.
Stavroula focuses on cross-border compliance and regulatory matters and assists French and foreign payment services providers, credit institutions, investment funds and FinTechs in the implementation of European regulatory obligations under banking, payment services, financial markets and anti-money laundering regulations, in the context of their activities in France and within the European Union. She also acts in cross-border investigations and litigation matters on behalf of corporations and financial institutions, relating to anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions and other laws.
Stavroula has been seconded to the legal team of a major international bank in Paris. Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2018, she has worked at the Center for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA) of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and at a law firm in Greece.
She is fluent in French, English and Greek.
