Overview
Ruth Neligan advises clients on a range of employment law issues, including employment tribunal and high court claims and general advisory matters including remote working, contract reviews, grievances and disciplinary matters. She also provides support on the employment aspects of complex and high value transactions.
Ruth recently supported the representation of claimants in a multimillion-pound conspiracy claim for injunctive relief and damages arising from an alleged unlawful poaching raid across numerous jurisdictions at the High Court in London.
During her training contract, Ruth completed seats in the Corporate and Securities team, the Competition and Antitrust team and completed a six-month secondment at a FTSE 100 firm. She also co-ordinated the firm’s pro-bono participation in the Islington Law Centre.
Before joining Mayer Brown, Ruth held roles at a number of global professional services firms in their Risk and Compliance teams.
