Hunter B. Newell

Hunter Newell is an associate in the Houston office of Mayer Brown's Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Before joining the firm, Hunter was an associate at an international law firm where he focused his practice in the oil and gas industry on representing financial institutions and companies in a variety of public and private transactions.

Hunter received his JD from Duke University School of Law and his BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, Hunter served as the Interscholastic Chair of the Mock Trial team, practicing member of the Immigrant & Refugee Pro Bono Project, and as a founding member of the Duke Law Texas Club.
