Overview

Chirag Naidu is an associate in Mayer Brown's New York office and a member of the Capital Markets practice. His practice involves the representation of issuers, underwriters, agents and selling stockholders in a broad range of SEC-registered and exempt transactions. He also advises clients on corporate governance matters and public company reporting obligations.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Chirag practiced at another major law firm where he advised clients on a wide range of corporate and securities law matters, including initial public offerings.

Chirag earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Butler Fellow and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He also served on the editorial board of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Chirag earned his B.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, magna cum laude, with a major in International Economics. Before starting law school, Chirag was a management consultant, focusing on clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
