Meerim Nehme is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office, where she focuses on litigation and dispute resolution. Meerim’s civil litigation practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation and class action defense, including class action suits alleging false advertising and violations of consumer protection and unfair competition laws. Meerim also advises large financial institutions in their positions as trustee, servicer and in other related roles on disputes involving residential mortgage-backed securities and loan servicing practices. Her recent experience includes representation of one of the largest music streaming services in a copyright infringement case.
Meerim received her JD from Georgetown University and her BA in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, Meerim externed for Judge Michael Linfield at the Los Angeles Superior Court. In addition, Meerim worked as a student advocate at Georgetown’s Civil Litigation Clinic and served as an editor of The Tax Lawyer.
