Overview
Christine McDevitt is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities practice group. Christine’s practice focuses on federal securities law compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets transactions. Christine regularly advises clients in a variety of industries on securities law compliance and reporting matters, such as annual, quarterly and current reports, quarterly earnings releases and investor presentations, proxy statements, and beneficial ownership (Schedule 13D/G) and insider (Forms 3, 4, 5) reporting and compliance. Christine also advises clients with respect to national securities exchange compliance matters and corporate governance issues. In addition, she represents both issuers and underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, including debt-for-equity exchanges and split-off transactions, and represents public companies in M&A transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Christine served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons, Jr. on the Delaware Court of Chancery. Her practice draws from her experience on this preeminent business court.
