Overview
Christine McDevitt is a Corporate & Securities associate in Mayer Brown’s Charlotte office. Christine’s practice focuses on securities and capital markets transactions and general corporate counseling. She represents both issuers and underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, including debt-for-equity exchanges and split-off transactions, and represents public companies in M&A transactions. In addition to her transactional work, Christine regularly advises clients in a variety of industries on corporate governance issues and securities law and national securities exchange compliance and reporting matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Christine served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons, Jr. on the Delaware Court of Chancery. Her practice draws from her experience on this preeminent business court.
