Overview
Tony, an associate in the Brussels office and member of the International Trade group joined Mayer Brown in 2021. He advises clients on international and EU trade law including trade defence, restrictive measures (sanctions) export control, and customs.
Tony represents EU producers, exporting producers, and users in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, safeguard, and anti-circumvention investigations before the European Commission, including in the context of interim and expiry reviews. He also acts as counsel in cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
In addition, Tony advises clients on the interpretation and application of EU sanctions and export control rules. He also helps clients navigate other novel EU instruments relating to due diligence, foreign direct investment, foreign subsidies and international procurement.
