Shawn Seung Min Lee is an associate in Mayer Brown's New York office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice. He concentrates his practice on United States and cross-border financial transactions. He also acts for a broad range of South Korean real estate investors and his experience includes real estate acquisitions and lender-side real estate finance transactions.

Prior to law school, Shawn served in the Republic of Korea Army for nearly two years as a Korean Augmentation To the United States Army (“KATUSA”) in Camp Humphreys, South Korea. Shawn was a squad leader and Sergeant within the US-Korea coalition force. He won the Army Achievement Medal, awarded by the United States Department of Defense.

Shawn received his JD and LLM in Taxation degree from New York University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto.

He is fluent in Korean.
