Anna Kong is an associate in the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and Technology Transactions practice at  Mayer Brown. She advises clients on data privacy and security issues as they relate to commercial agreements and compliance matters. She has experience working with companies to develop website privacy policies, terms of use, data processing agreements, privacy playbooks, and other internal and external policies and procedures. She regularly negotiates data privacy and security provisions in vendor agreements.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Anna worked as an in-house transactional and privacy attorney for several multinational companies, specifically in the advertising industry, hospitality industry, and e-commerce. Anna received her JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2011. She is a 2005 graduate of California State Polytechnic University. Prior to practicing law, she worked as a contracts manager for several technology companies in the travel industry and defense industry.
