Overview

JoAnne Jennings is a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office. JoAnne practices civil litigation involving healthcare, cyber security, and privacy. JoAnne was the lead associate defending firm client American Specialty Health in four nationwide class action matters alleging fraud and abuse in the delivery of a broad range of healthcare services. She took an active role reviewing massive databases of information to develop successful defense strategies. In addition to litigation, JoAnne works closely with the healthcare team advising clients on a broad range of regulatory issues, with particular focus on anti-kickback, referral and rebate concerns.

JoAnne received her JD from the University of California, Davis School of Law. While attending law school, she served as an extern to the Honorable Kathleen O’Leary of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, and as an intern in the Office of the White House Counsel. Prior to becoming an attorney, JoAnne worked for ten years as a consultant in a multinational accounting and consulting firm; hence JoAnne brings a wealth of practical business experience to her advisory and litigation roles at Mayer Brown.
