Overview

Elisabeth Jelinek (Libby) is an associate in Mayer Brown's Los Angeles office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Libby clerked for The Honorable R. Gary Klausner on the US District Court for the Central District of California and The Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  She also previously worked as a litigation associate at another prominent law firm in Los Angeles. 

Libby received her JD from the UCLA School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of Coif. In law school, Libby served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Kimberly J. Mueller on the US District Court for the Eastern District of California. She also was a member of the UCLA School of Law Supreme Court Clinic and served as senior editor of the UCLA Law Review.  Libby received a BA in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
