Meicy Hui is an associate in Mayer Brown's Palo Alto office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. She advises US and other international public and private companies on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactional and advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, fund establishment and structuring, restructurings, joint ventures, and general corporate counseling. She also advises clients on technology-related matters in commercial transactions, including intellectual property, data privacy and information security, software outsourcing licensing. She has also advised on the establishment of private investment funds and fund structuring. Her practice covers a wide variety of industries, including the technology, food, energy, financial services and insurance industries.
Meicy earned her LLM from Stanford Law School. She also earned her MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge and her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration (double degree) from the University of Hong Kong.
Before joining Mayer Brown, Meicy practiced with a large international law firm in Hong Kong. She has also gone on secondment as a corporate legal counsel at Coca Cola.
