Michael J. Howlett is an associate in the Real Estate practice in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office. He advises investors and developers on issues regarding commercial real estate developments, including land use, zoning, financing, purchases and sales of real estate assets, joint ventures and municipal regulations.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Michael advised clients on legislative, licensing and zoning matters at the city and state levels. He has previously worked in governmental and public affairs for non-profit associations, the City of Chicago, and the Illinois General Assembly.
