Overview

James Harrison is an associate in the Antitrust & Competition practice seconded to the Brussels office. His experience includes advising clients in a broad range of sectors in respect of international cartel investigations, competition law compliance issues and internal investigations, and multi-jurisdictional merger control. He also advises multinational businesses in respect of Brexit-related risks.

James is also a member of Mayer Brown's Public Procurement Group and advises clients in respect of UK/EU public procurement law.

James joined Mayer Brown as a trainee in 2016, and during his training contract spent three months on secondment to the securities lending team of a global bank. As an associate, James was seconded to a major Lloyd's managing agent for six months, where he advised on a broad range of commercial and litigation issues as part of the in-house legal team.
