Carla F. Garfinkle

Carla Garfinkle is a member of the Banking & Finance practice in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office. Carla specializes in supply chain finance, structured finance, securitizations, synthetic securitizations, whole loan sales, factoring and secured lending transactions. She has extensive experience developing innovative structures with a broad range of asset classes, including trade receivables, auto loans and leases, equipment leases, marketplace loans, corporate debt and student loans as well as structured monetization of inventory. Her clients include banks, financial institutions and multinational companies. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Carla served as General Counsel of a national finance and fleet leasing company where she developed its lease syndication program and oversaw the securitization of its fleet leasing assets. Carla graduated from University of Pennsylvania Law School, magna cum laude, where she was an Editor of the Law Review.
