Overview
David Fraher is a senior associate in the Banking & Finance practice of the London office.
He primarily focuses on cross-border debt transactions in emerging markets, particularly export, multilateral and syndicated financings in the commodity, energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. He represents both lenders and borrowers and has a particular interest in financings for sovereigns and state-owned enterprises, as well as export credit agency backed transactions.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2019 David practised law at an English magic circle firm and a leading international firm in London. In 2018 David undertook a client secondment to a major commercial bank where he primarily supported its project finance team in relation to financings in the renewables sector.
David is a member of the 5th working group for Future of Export Finance (“FEX”). FEX aims to provide a platform for younger professionals in export finance to network, to enhance stakeholders’ knowledge of export finance and to promote export finance as a career option.Areas of Focus
