Chris Demet is counsel in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Projects & Infrastructure group and the Banking & Finance practice. His practice is focused on renewable energy transactions, including tax equity and debt financing of wind and solar energy generating assets, along with acquisitions, joint ventures, minority equity investments, and other strategic transactions in a variety of energy generating assets.
- Represented parties to various tax equity and debt financing transactions in domestic wind and solar energy generating assets under development across dozens of states, including utility scale, C&I, and community solar assets.
- Represented an investor in an indirect equity investment in a solar project under development with tax equity and debt financing in place.
- Represented buyers and sellers in acquisitions and sales of wind, solar, and biomass energy generating assets, among other assets.
