Christian Choi is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice focusing on capital markets. He transferred into the Corporate & Securities practice from Mayer Brown’s Tax Controversy & Transfer Pricing practice, where he represented taxpayers in IRS administrative proceedings and in federal litigation. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Christian worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, DC as a Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Associate.

Christian received his JD and LLM in Taxation with Distinction from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, President of the LLM Tax Council, and represented Georgetown at EUCOTAX 2018 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He received his BA from the University of Virginia.

Christian was raised in Switzerland, South Korea, and the United States, and is fluent in French and Korean.
