Overview

Ryan Chong is an associate in the International Arbitration practice in Mayer Brown's Singapore office. Before joining Mayer Brown, he worked in the chambers of one of the world’s leading international arbitrators, as well as in one of Singapore’s top litigation firms. 

Ryan has experience of a range of commercial, construction, energy and investor-state disputes.  He has served as tribunal secretary in high-value investor-state, commercial and construction arbitrations under most leading arbitral rules and in diverse seats.  He has also been involved in arbitration-related litigation before the Singapore Court of Appeal.  

Ryan also has experience advising and representing clients in insolvency and corporate restructuring related litigation as well as general commercial litigation in Singapore. 

Ryan graduated with first class honours from the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law and has a LL.M. from New York University.
