Mayer Brown wins “State Firm of the Year: Illinois” and advises on winning deal in IFLR1000 United States Awards

Mayer Brown announced that it has won “State Firm of the Year: Illinois” in the inaugural IFLR1000 United States Awards. The firm also advised on a transaction named “Deal of the Year” in the projects category. The winning transaction is:

Deal of the Year: Projects: Lāwa’i 28MW solar power plant / 100MW energy storage facility
Mayer Brown represented Republic Services in its equity investment commitment in a solar project in Lawa'i, Hawaii.

The awards celebrate the “most innovative US deals and the best-performing law firms and lawyers across the states in 2019 and recognize where firms and lawyers performed exceptionally both locally and nationally.”
