London – Mayer Brown is one of only eight law firms to have received the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) 2020 UK Gold Standard Certification for its integration and promotion of women to the highest leadership positions in the firm.
To qualify for the WILEF UK Gold Standard Certification, which is now in its second year, firms with 100 lawyers or more must demonstrate that women are represented within the equity partnership, governance and compensation committees, are amongst the most highly compensated at equity level, and that this group of women are suitably diverse.
Commenting on this year's certification, Sally Davies, London Managing Partner at Mayer Brown, said: "We are tremendously proud of our legal talent and are fully committed to ensuring that women progress and thrive at every level within the firm. Whilst we are delighted to have once again received the WILEF Gold Standard Certificate, which serves as a useful benchmark of our progress, we are not content with this. There is more to do and we look forward to continuing with our program of work to extend the levels of diversity and inclusion that we have achieved."
