Mayer Brown partner Evan Tager appointed to WLF’s legal policy advisory board

Mayer Brown partner Evan Tager (Washington DC) has been appointed to the Washington Legal Foundation’s (WLF) legal policy advisory board, which includes more than 40 distinguished professionals from the government and the legal, academic, and public policy sectors, all of whom serve on a volunteer basis.

A member of Mayer Brown’s Supreme Court & Appellate and Class Action practices, Mr. Tager has handled more than 50 appellate arguments. He has either represented a party or filed an amicus brief in every Supreme Court case involving punitive damages in the last two decades. Benchmark Litigation recognized Mr. Tager as a National Litigation Star, while Chambers USA and Legal 500 have identified him as one of America’s leading appellate lawyers for multiple years running. In addition, he has published extensively on the subjects of punitive damages, class actions, and expert testimony. He was the lead author of WLF’s monograph, “Admissibility of Expert Testimony: Manageable Guidance for Judicial Gatekeeping.”
