Mayer Brown has advised Bisquiva GmbH & Co. KG ("Bisquiva") on the sale of a production site in Schneverdingen (Lower Saxony, Germany). The site was purchased by a Verden-based company owned by the biscuit and wafer manufacturer, Hans Freitag Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Bisquiva, a trademark subsidiary of the Bahlsen Group with five production sites, has more than 40 different biscuit production lines that are available in over 60 countries worldwide. Hans Freitag Group will continue to produce the biscuit and wafer range made at the Schneverdingen site and will cooperate with the Bahlsen Group on supply and service contracts.
