London — Mayer Brown received two honors at the AllAboutLaw Awards 2019 held in London.
The firm won The Diversity & Inclusion Award for its ongoing commitment to programs and policies that increase the diversity of its trainee intake in London.
Mayer Brown's Senior Graduate Recruitment and Development Manager, Danielle White, was also awarded Best Graduate Recruitment Manager for her dedication and active role in supporting trainees and vacation scheme students at Mayer Brown.
Sally Davies, Mayer Brown's senior partner in London, said: "We are thrilled to have been recognized twice at the AllAboutLaw Awards. Danielle and the wider team are incredibly committed to driving our diversity and inclusion agenda forward. Their focus and combined efforts to introduce a more diverse pool of candidates to Mayer Brown has resulted in the firm recruiting 78 percent of its 2020 trainees from under-represented groups, which is a fantastic achievement. The time, energy and effort that Danielle puts into her work goes above and beyond and it's fantastic that her hard work has been recognized by the trainees and vacation scheme students who voted for the awards."
The AllAboutLaw Awards, held on 28 November, use data gathered from trainees and vacation schemes students to celebrate law firms who create innovative and rewarding vacation schemes and training contracts.
