Mayer Brown, along with partner Brian Massengill (Chicago), received the John Howard Association (JHA)’s 2019 “Partnership Award” for the firm’s work with JHA in criminal justice reform.
Since 2014, Mayer Brown has helped preserve the confidentiality of JHA’s communications with inmates and provided legal advice in various matters, including assisting with subpoena responses and deposition testimony.
