Mayer Brown announced that Washington DC-based partner Grace Shie has been selected to Human Resource Executive’s list of 40 "Up-and-Comers" in the publication’s annual ranking of "The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys." The list honors lawyers with 10 – 20 years of experience who have achieved remarkable accomplishments in labor and employment law.

A member of Mayer Brown’s Employment & Benefits group, Ms. Shie advises multinational companies on employee mobility and the management of work forces across the globe, including in major financial centers and emerging markets. She has a longstanding command of US immigration rules across the commercial nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories and manages global immigration matters across all worldwide regions. In addition, Ms. Shie provides immigration compliance advice to public and private companies operating in regulated industries and in a variety of industry sectors, including financial services and banking, technology and communications, security and defense, manufacturing and retail.
