Mayer Brown has been recognized as this year’s “Immigration Provider of the Year” at The Americas: Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM). The award recognizes organizations or companies that have demonstrated best-in-class immigration support and compliance for their clients and their internal assignee population during the past year.
Mayer Brown’s Global Mobility & Migration team manages a wide range of global mobility issues confronting clients and provides oversight in various areas, including visa and work permit bureaucracies, complex tax regimes, and a host of other legal and compliance challenges. In announcing the award, FEM noted, “Mayer Brown LLP brings the total package to the field of Global Mobility.” It also highlighted the firm’s ability to advise companies and businesses of all sizes.
The 2019 FEM EMMAs received entries across 22 categories. Winners were selected by an independent panel made up of industry experts who judged against strict criteria.
FEM is a real-world and online community for the global mobility and HR industry. It holds annual summits and EMMAs awards ceremonies in the Americas, APAC (Asia Pacific region) and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) as well as conferences in Amsterdam, Australia and Houston.
