Mayer Brown announced today that Dr. Hagen Köckeritz has joined the firm’s Employment & Benefits practice as a partner in Frankfurt.
Dr. Köckeritz previously spent 11 years with Baker McKenzie in Frankfurt and Chicago, where he was a local partner. He has extensive expertise in advising companies on all employment law aspects of national and international projects and transactions.
"Hagen brings important capabilities as an experienced employment law expert whose proven expertise will further strengthen our existing range of advisory services", said Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld, the partner in charge in Germany and leader of Mayer Brown's German Employment & Benefit practice. "Hagen's arrival further develops our strong Employment practice group and, at the same time, enhances our ability in advising transactions."
"I look forward to working with Guido Zeppenfeld and the Employment team", said Dr. Köckeritz. "The firm's platform and strategic orientation, particularly in the Employment & Benefits area, offer ideal conditions for further expanding my practice."
With the addition of Hagen Köckeritz, two partners and five additional lawyers now comprise the German employment practice of Mayer Brown. His arrival comes shortly after Dr. Berthold Kusserow joined the Banking & Finance practice in Mayer Brown's Frankfurt office in February and Dr. Robert John joined as a Corporate & Securities partner in November 2018.
