London — Mayer Brown has advised Entertainment One (eOne), the global independent studio, on the agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of UK-based Audio Network Limited for approximately £178 million.
Audio Network, one of the world’s largest independent creators and publishers of original high-quality music for hit film and televisions and series, such as Killing Eve and The Night Manager, will become part of eOne’s group of Music and Live companies and enhance its position as a leading end-to-end global independent music brand. The transaction will also add 150,000+ tracks across all genres to eOne's catalogue.
Mayer Brown has a long-standing relationship with eOne, having previously advised on the acquisition of the rights to childrens’ television show Peppa Pig and its premium listing on the London Stock Exchange.
