Mayer Brown announced that Washington DC-based Cybersecurity & Data Privacy partner Marcus Christian has been selected to Cybersecurity Docket’s 2019 “Incident Response 30,” a list recognizing 30 of the “best and brightest data breach response lawyers in the business.” The publication noted that those recognized “have established themselves as the ’first call’ for companies hit with a cyber attack or other data security incident.” Mr. Christian was previously named to the inaugural list in 2016 and again in 2018.

A member of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and White Collar Defense & Compliance group, Mr. Christian represents clients in matters involving cybersecurity incident response, planning, testing, and governance as well as government and internal investigations, among others. Before joining the firm, he served as the executive assistant US attorney at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
