Mayer Brown is pleased to announce that it has received the Bronze Law Firm Award at the Law Society of Hong Kong Pro Bono and Community Service Award Presentation Ceremony 2018. This was the second year the firm has received this honor.

Mayer Brown was recognized for performing pro bono and community work and for encouraging its lawyers to perform more than 10 hours of work from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. 

The firm has been active in providing legal assistance to non-government organizations on various legal issues, such as contracts, copyright, corporate, employment, intellectual property and trademark issues, and to low income or disadvantageous individuals, as well as for helping conserve nature and feed the poor.

In addition to the firm award six lawyers received individual awards for their pro bono work.

The Law Society of Hong Kong Pro Bono and Community Service Award honors law firms and lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to pro bono and community work in Hong Kong.
