Mayer Brown has been named a finalist in 13 “Americas Tax” awards sponsored by International Tax Review. The annual awards recognize the most innovative tax transactions, tax disputes and transfer-pricing work done in North, Central and South America in 2017-2018, and the in-house teams, firms and individuals that were part of it. This year’s winners will be announced in September.

Additionally, Mayer Brown worked on the Altice US IPO, which was named a finalist in both “Americas Capital Markets Tax Deal of the Year” and “Americas Technology and Telecommunications Tax Deal of the Year.” The firm was also named a finalist in “Americas Consumer Products Tax Deal of the Year” for its work on the Nestlé acquisition of Atrium Innovations, as well as a finalist in “Americas Joint Venture Tax Deal of the Year” and “Americas Real Estate Tax Deal of the Year” for advising Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Cyrela Commercial Properties on a joint venture.

International Tax Review will select winners based on firm submissions of their best work in tax transactions, tax disputes, indirect tax, restructuring and transfer pricing, and information obtained for World Tax 2018 and World Transfer Pricing 2018.
