Mayer Brown announced today that the firm has been named GlobalCapital’s “Americas Law Firm of the Year – Overall,” which is the highest recognition given at GlobalCapital magazine’s 2018 Americas Derivatives Awards. Mayer Brown was also named a finalist in the “US Law Firm of the Year – Regulatory” and “US Law Firm of the Year – Transactions” categories.

GlobalCapital highlighted that the firm merited the award “for innovation in structuring, its leading role in helping financial institutions comply with regulations and its support for the derivatives industry through its work in drafting standardized documentation.”

This is the fourth consecutive year of honors for Mayer Brown’s derivatives team, having previously been named “US Law Firm of the Year – Regulatory” at GlobalCapital’s Americas Derivatives Awards in 2017 and 2016; and “European Law Firm of the Year — Transactional” in 2017, “European Law Firm of the Year — Regulatory” in 2016 and “European Law Firm of the Year — Overall” in 2015 at GlobalCapital’s Global Derivatives Awards.
