Mayer Brown announced that Washington DC-based Cybersecurity & Data Privacy partner Marcus Christian has been selected to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 30,” a list recognizing 30 of the “best and brightest Incident Response attorneys and compliance professionals in the industry.” The publication noted that those recognized are the “kind of professionals critical to have on speed-dial when the inevitable data breach occurs.” Mr. Christian was previously named to the list in 2016.
A member of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and White Collar Defense & Compliance group, Mr. Christian represents clients in matters involving data security planning, board governance of cybersecurity, cyber fraud, data breach response and congressional investigations, among others. Before joining the firm, he served as the Executive Assistant United States Attorney at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Christian’s responsibilities included data security, critical incident response, and investigations and prosecutions of offenses involving data breaches, identity theft and transnational criminal organizations.
