Mayer Brown announced that Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Andy Pincus (Washington DC) was named an “MVP” in the Appellate category by Law360. This recognition honors “elite” lawyers who have “distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals.”

Mr. Pincus has presented 27 arguments before the US Supreme Court, including two successful cases this past year that touched on critical issues involving patent exhaustion and the enforceability of arbitration agreements. This impressive track record resulted in a spot among the publication’s 2017 Appellate MVPs for the second consecutive year. In addition to his favorable rulings in Impression Products v. Lexmark and Kindred Nursing Centers v. Clark, a Law360 profile highlighted Mr. Pincus’ pro bono work defending the Affordable Care Act and those affected by the Trump administration’s travel ban.
