Mayer Brown announced that Los Angeles-based Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Bronwyn Pollock was named a “Woman Worth Watching 2017” by Profiles in Diversity Journal. This annual recognition honored women who “are a driving force in transforming change across the diversity and inclusion landscape,” the publication said. Honorees were nominated by colleagues and mentors.
Profiles in Diversity Journal’s feature article on Ms. Pollock described her as the “go-to SoCal lawyer for defending financial services and real estate companies in high-profile cases,” and noted her commitment to diversity and inclusion, economic empowerment and women in leadership. The publication highlighted Ms. Pollock’s belief that diverse legal teams produce the best results for clients: “Our backgrounds and experiences shape our thought processes, and it is critical to consider our various viewpoints if we are to develop the best strategy for our clients,” she said.
Ms. Pollock leads Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Los Angeles and co-leads the firm’s Commercial Litigation group. She serves as co-leader of Mayer Brown’s Women’s Leadership Committee, and is a member of the firm’s Committee on Diversity & Inclusion.
