London — Mayer Brown received an MPF Award in the Best Provision of Know-How to Clients category at the 2017 event held in London on 8 March.

The award recognises the firm's innovative tool for clients who need to assess multi-jurisdictional employment law in the area of background checks. Mayer Brown's solution, an interactive app called A Global Guide to Background Checks, was launched in April 2016.

It was described by the judges as a "stand out" initiative delivering "multi-jurisdictional know-how and expert insight alongside quick-reference tools on multiple interactive platforms". In addition, the tool is highly rated by clients because it is both comprehensive and easy to use.

Judged by leading international management consultants and experts based in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, the MPF Awards recogise operational and strategic excellence in professional service firms. The awards are held in collaboration with knowledge partners Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times.
