Mayer Brown announced that Los Angeles-based Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Bronwyn Pollock was named to LA Biz’s 2017 Women of Influence list, which recognizes women who have “made an impact both professionally and in their communities.”
In a profile by LA Biz, Ms. Pollock, who leads the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Los Angeles and co-leads the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group, said the most challenging part of her job is anticipating the changing legal landscape and challenges to clients’ businesses, as well as ensuring the development of Mayer Brown’s associate talent. Serving as a mentor for a number of associates and junior partners, Ms. Pollock works closely with her mentees to “identify challenges they are facing and help them to develop both short- and long-term strategies to grow professionally, navigate difficult situations and find success.”
At Mayer Brown, her practice is focused on complex civil litigation, particularly involving the banking, finance, real estate, and insurance industries. She represents financial institutions in disputes involving residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and loan servicing practices, as well as civil enforcement actions and government investigations by the California Attorney General and the Los Angeles City Attorney.
Ms. Pollock also regularly supports pro bono projects that serve our wounded veterans and their families.
