In its overview of Mayer Brown’s accomplishments in 2016, Infrastructure Investor said that two projects, “along with the international law firm’s full deal pipeline,” led to Mayer Brown’s win. The publication recognized the firm’s work:
- Advising on the $1.3B public-private partnership project to double the physical capacity at University of California, Merced by 2020; and
- Representing Texas Department of Transportation in the financing of the $815M State Highway 288 toll road project in Houston.
The winners of the Infrastructure Investor Awards are chosen by a poll of the publication’s readers. Infrastructure Investor is a magazine and online news service providing global coverage of infrastructure finance and investment.
