Mayer Brown has again won the Asia Law Firm of the Year – Transactions at the Global PERE Awards. This is the third consecutive year the firm has come out tops in this category. The latest recognition was given for the firm’s work in advising on various major real estate transactions in 2015, including the sale of InterContinental Hong Kong. The US$938 million transaction was one of the largest hospitality deals in Asia.

“We’re honoured that our work is once again recognised. It’s a testament to our continued commitment to providing the absolute best for our clients. It also further reaffirms Mayer Brown’s reputation as one of the predominant law firms for real estate in the region. I couldn’t be prouder of the team,” says Keith Cheung, the firmwide practice leader of Mayer Brown’s Real Estate group.

This latest award follows the firm’s recognition as the Real Estate Law Firm of the Year at the 2015 ALB Hong Kong Law Awards. The firm’s Real Estate practice is also ranked Band One and Tier One by Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal 500 Asia Pacific respectively.
