In its overview of Mayer Brown’s accomplishments in 2015, Infrastructure Investor said that the firm “fought fiercely to push forward P3s [public-private partnerships] into the mainstream of North America’s infrastructure space” and cited Mayer Brown’s work on “some of the year’s banner transactions”:
- Advising the Texas Department of Transportation on an $850 million toll lane concession project;
- Representing the Port Authority of Jamaica in the $600 million concession of the Kingston Container Terminal;
- Providing counsel to the Illinois Department of Transportation on the Illiana Corridor P3 project; and
- Advising the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority on a public-private partnership for the development of the Southport Marine Terminal Complex.
The winners of the Infrastructure Investor Awards are chosen by a poll of the publication’s readers. Infrastructure Investor is a magazine and online news service providing global coverage of infrastructure finance and investment.
