Mayer Brown Intellectual Property partner Gabriela Kennedy (Hong Kong) has been named “Best in TMT” at the fifth Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2015. This is the third time Gabriela has been acknowledged as the best among her peers in this category at the prestigious awards ceremony organised by the Euromoney Legal Media Group (Gabriela received the same award in 2011 and 2012).

The Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards celebrates and promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession. Law firms that set the standard in supporting the development of women in the legal profession were also given due recognition.

The award further solidifies Gabriela’s position as an influential and outstanding practitioner in the TMT industry in Asia. A true TMT lawyer, she has extensive experience in the IT field (both transactional and contentious), unrivalled capabilities and knowledge in media regulatory and contentious matters as well as in relation to regulatory and transactional telecommunications matters in Asia.

Gabriela is also the co-leader of Mayer Brown’s global Intellectual Property practice. She is based in Hong Kong, practising intellectual property, media, information technology and telecommunications law.
