Paris - Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, announced that Tax Transactions & Consulting partner Laurent Borey has been named "Lawyer of the Year" for 2014 by Option Droit et Affaires (Option Finance), a leading publication in France for finance professionals.

The award recognizes Mr. Borey for successfully representing clients in numerous complex, sensitive and high-profile tax matters in which he helped clients to craft winning strategies. His selection was based on responses to a survey of his peers in the Paris legal community.
