Brussels - Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, announced today that Julian Ellison has joined the firm as a partner in its Antitrust & Competition practice in Brussels. Previously, he was a partner in the Brussels office at Ashurst.

Kiran Desai, partner-in-charge of Mayer Brown’s office in Brussels, said: "Julian is a highly regarded EU and UK competition lawyer whose experience complements our focus in Europe on network industries, local markets, government investigations and litigation before the EU Court of Justice. He also said: "He has been involved in many EU cases involving Phase II inquiries and cases involving required undertakings, as well as UK Competition Commission cases. This experience will support the increasing M&A activities of our clients."
