Mayer Brown announced today the promotions of Yeda Hong and Julianna Wong to consultants in the Real Estate practice, with effect from 1 September 2012.
Yeda has extensive experience in handling land compulsory sale applications and is one of the leading lawyers in this practice area. She also advises on project conveyancing, project and end-user financing, property-related joint ventures, property acquisitions and redevelopment, landlord and tenant matters, as well as property-related litigation matters. Yeda earned both her PCLL and LLB from the University of Hong Kong.
Julianna also has a great deal of experience in dealing with tenancy matters, including acting for major corporate landlords in setting up their standard form lease documentation, negotiating leases with prospective tenants and advising on tenancy issues. She is also experienced in handling sales and purchases of property and security transactions; acting in sale and purchase transactions of land and buildings and shares of property-holding companies; handling sales of property by mortgagees; and handling and advising upon the property aspects of corporate listings and restructuring. Julianna also earned her LLM, PCLL and LLB from the University of Hong Kong.
