London - Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, has appointed Andrew Block as a partner to the Pensions group in London. Andrew was previously a partner at Travers Smith, before that having worked and trained at Linklaters.
Andrew advises on a wide range of issues concerning occupational pension schemes, acting for both employers and trustees. This includes advising on the pensions aspects of corporate acquisitions, outsourcings and disposals; advising on scheme mergers; advising on pension scheme investments; advising on changes to benefits; and advising on the day to day running of pension schemes.
