Chambers comments on Mayer Brown’s top-tier rankings

Mayer Brown's commercial litigation team is "becoming more established and getting bigger-ticket work on a consistent basis." Clients praise the "clear, black-and-white legal advice" that the team's lawyers provide. The team regularly acts for major clients on financial services, restructuring and insurance-related disputes. In addition, it has a strong reputation for its expertise in construction disputes, regularly acting in both High Court litigation and international arbitrations.

Of Mayer Brown's UK Professional Negligence team Chambers says: This "easy-going and efficient" 28-partner team handles a huge number of instructions from insurers, as well as direct from professionals. The team of "big names backed up by strong support" offers a wide range of expertise in professional negligence, with its global insurance and reinsurance group maintaining a strong reputation thanks to an upswing in work against the backdrop of recession.
