26 July 2010 Leading international law firm Mayer Brown has advised longstanding global client NXP Semiconductors on the acquisition of Jennica Ltd, the holding company of Jennic Ltd, a wireless technology company specialising in wireless control devices.

NXP, which is a global semiconductor company providing solutions and software for a wide range of industry sectors, operates in over 25 countries worldwide and posted sales of $3.8billion in 2009. Mayer Brown regularly advise NXP in their dealings across the USA and in this transaction represented the company in the UK for the first time.

The Mayer Brown team representing NXP was led by Corporate partner Henrietta Walker with assistance from Corporate associates Joseph Rigler and Rosie Hewitt. James Hill (Tax partner), Ben Fryer (Tax associate) and Sarah Byrt (IP partner) also advised.
