Bob Entwisle, an associate in the Chicago office working under the supervision of Marc Kadish, has worked on State v. Annette Harris since joining the firm in the fall of 2008. Our client was charged with murder. We defended her on the grounds of self defense and/or second degree murder (voluntary manslaughter). The judge, after a bench trial, found her guilty of murder. But at a sentencing hearing held on February 23rd, the judge gave Ms. Harris the minimum sentence which can be given under Illinois law – 20 years.

Bob wrote, briefed, conducted and argued a Motion to Suppress Statement. He conducted the entire trial with Marc Kadish supervising.
